NUPENG : Nigerian oil Workers Suspend 3-day Warning Strike
Nigerian oil workers have suspended their 3-day warning strike.
The Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, embarked on strike over what it deemed unfavorable staff welfare.
The union has however called off the strike after a meeting with some government officials and representatives of oil companies held in Abuja.
Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, said two weeks have been fixed to settle the grievances .
