My Life Is In Danger – Governor Nyemson Wike
Governor Nyesom Wike cried before the Inspector General of Police , Mr Ibrahim Idris that his life had been in danger since the sudden withdrawal of his Chief Security Officer CSO, by the national Police chief.
The governor spoke when the Inspector General, Mr Ibrahim Idris paid him a courtesy visit in Government House, Port Harcourt on Thursday, the 8th day of December, 2016.
Wike said that the withdrawal of his CSO had exposed him to all manner of insecurity.
Wike also called on the police Chief to redeploy an Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in the state Police command, Mr Steven Hasso and the Commander , Special Anti Robbery squad, SARS, Mr Akin Fakorede for allegedly being unprofessional in their police operations. Wike said it is unfortunate that the office of the IG could say that his CSO was withdrawn over alleged misconduct
