South African rapper AKA is thrilled to assume executive producer role on the upcoming second season of hit music reality show The Hustle.
While speaking to TshisaLive AKA revealed that the approached owners of the show, Mzanzi Magic, some time back to discuss ideas for the show’s second season, set to air later this year.
“I felt I had something to give and told them my ideas to make the show bigger and better.
Luckily thy agreed”, AKA added. His new role would include, among other things, development of concepts and ideas for challenges given to contestants on the show.
He confirmed that he will continue as a judge confident he can occupy both roles.
“It’s not a problem for me.
I have always been invested in helping young artists get a platform for exposure, and these
roles will really help push that forward and making sure that the contestants have every opportunity to have a bright future,” the rapper explained.
