After Buhari’s Victory Claim, Suicide Bombers Strike Maiduguri Again
Two suicide bombers struck in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, in the early hours of Monday, the 26th day of December, 2016.
Victor Isuku, the spokesman of the State Police Command confirmed this.
It comes less than two days after President Muhammadu Buhari praised the military for capturing Sambisa Forest.
Buhari said : “I am delighted at, and most proud of, the gallant troops of the Nigerian army on receipt of the long-awaited and most gratifying news of the final crushing of Boko Haram terrorists in their last enclave in Sambisa Forest”.
